MMS service E2E analysis for CMHuB (2008)
Hantele designed MMS service end-to-end performance improvement service, breached the traditions, by digging, tracing and analysis the vast signaling data, which collected from the interfaces (Um, Gb, Gn, Gi, or even MM1,MM3,MM4,MM7&PUSH at the higher layer) related to MMS services. This Hantele service helps operators to analyze and allocate the network problem. Also, the Hantele service identified major factors affecting performance, which concluded with an optimization proposal for improving the QoS of MMS.
Service case:
MMS user’s behavior caused failure of sending MMS.
After all data packets sent from the handset, the gateway replied a “m-send-conf “ message to the handset. The value of the status marked as “Error-Content not accepted” caused sending failure.
After the analysis to the whole process that cause “Error-Content not accepted”, we found the problem of MMS sending failure was caused by the receivers of To or CC exceeding the maximum limitation.
